PeopleConnect Global LLC, Dubai, UAE, is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL).

  • Candidate-Provided Data: name, contact details, CV/resume, work history, education, professional certifications, interview recordings.

  • Automatically Collected Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, date/time stamps.

  • Optional Sensitive Data: nationality, visa status, disability information—only with explicit consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Consent: Prior opt-in consent for collecting, storing, and using candidate data.

  • Contractual Necessity: Processing for pre-employment assessments and employment offers.

  • Legitimate Interest: Maintaining application records; improving recruitment processes, provided it does not override candidate rights.

5. Purpose and Use

  • Evaluate qualifications and suitability for roles.

  • Communicate about application status and recruitment events.

  • Conduct background and reference checks where permitted by law.

  • Match candidates to future opportunities when consented.

6. Data Retention

  • Active Applications: up to 12 months after application closure.

  • Talent Pool: up to 24 months if you opt in for future opportunities.

  • Thereafter, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

We implement appropriate technical (encryption, firewalls), organizational (access controls, staff training), and administrative (policies, audits) safeguards to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing).

  • Request erasure of data when processing is no longer necessary.
